Incident Response Simulation

As a NCSC assured Cyber Incident Exercising (CIE) provider, PureCyber's incident response simulation programme allows organisations to test the effectiveness of their Incident Response Plans in a safe environment. CIE provides a controlled, scenario-based opportunity for organisations to practice, evaluate and improve their cyber incident response plans and strengthen their incident management processes.

WHY PURECYBER?

PureCyber's Incident Response simulations have been developed based on extensive experience of responding to and remediating cyber security incidents, combined with real world threat intelligence on emerging and evolving cyber-attacks. As an assured NCSC Cyber Incident Exercise (CIE) provider, PureCyber has two approaches to creating simulations;

  • Table-Top Simulations: Discussion based focusing on roles, responsibilities, activities, and key decision points in line with the organisation’s incident response plan.

  • Live-Play Simulations: Real-time sessions where participants execute their roles in response to a particular scenario.

The PureCyber team evaluates the effectiveness of an organisation’s ability to prevent, detect, contain, and remediate an incident. Our experts assess technical and non-technical elements of an organisations security playbook to determine how a team and the business will respond to a cyber-attack. Throughout the incident response exercises, the PureCyber team will evaluate the technical impact a cyber attack could have on your internal network, discover what data could be jeopardised or lost, and test the strengths and weaknesses of your security controls’ ability to detect and respond to a major incident.
