  • Salary:                          £23,000 FTE per annum (pro rata)

    Reporting to:              Chief People Officer

    We are looking for a proactive and ambitious People Assistant to join our growing People Team here at PureCyber.

    The People Assistant will support the Chief People Officer with the delivery of HR/People services providing comprehensive administration and support. This role is essential in ensuring smooth People operations and providing a positive experience for all PureCyber staff. 

    This role is offered as an apprenticeship, with training delivered by Apprenticeship Learning Solutions Ltd. Successful applicants will work towards a CIPD Level 3 Certificate in People Practice, gaining valuable hands-on experience while studying towards a nationally recognised qualification.

    The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised and confident dealing with a wide range of tasks, with a keen interest in HR/People matters.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and update employee records in our HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.

    • Support the onboarding and off-boarding process.

    • Prepare documentation such as offer letters, change of terms and references.

    • Support recruitment activities, including advertising, reviewing candidates, arranging interviews.

    • Support the delivery of People initiatives and projects.

    • Assist with administering key processes such as sickness absence and probation reviews.

    • Provide admin support to CPO and wider management team.

    Person Specification:

    Essential

    • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 

    • A strong enthusiasm in HR/People matters, with a willingness to learn and develop foundational skills as a first step toward a career in human resources.

    • Proactive and efficient.     

    • Strong organisational and time-management skills.      

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.   

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Desirable

    • Previous experience in a customer service or administration role or similar.

    Contracted Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours pw

    As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Security Engineer to join our Security Operations Centre (SOC) team.

    This role is key to supporting and enhancing our detection, monitoring, and incident response capabilities. Working closely with the wider SOC team, you’ll help maintain and improve security tooling, fine-tune detections, and ensure timely and effective responses to emerging threats. Experience with SIEM platforms, particularly Microsoft Sentinel, is highly valued, plus a broad understanding of modern security operations tools and methodologies is essential.

    You will also take ownership of the design, implementation, optimisation, and ongoing management of SIEM environments, both internally and for clients. The role requires a strong mix of technical engineering, architectural thinking, and operational security expertise, with a focus on delivering scalable platforms and high-quality threat detection and response.

    Key Responsibilities

    Architecture & Engineering

    • Deliver multi-tenant SIEM implementations, including Microsoft Sentinel, tailored to client security monitoring needs. 

    • Integrate SIEM platforms with various log sources, cloud services and third-party security platforms.

    • Develop and manage automation playbooks, data retention, storage optimisation, and scalability.

    • Drive the adoption of upgrades, new features and continuous improvement initiatives.

    • Onboard and integrate a variety of data sources (e.g., Office 365, Azure AD, Defender, firewalls, endpoints, third-party APIs).

    Rule Tuning & Ongoing Operations

    • Develop and fine-tune custom analytics rules, KQL queries, and hunting queries for proactive threat detection.

    • Continuously improve detection capabilities. 

    • Regularly review and enhance detection coverage against MITRE ATT&CK framework.

    • Stay current with Microsoft updates, threat intelligence trends, and best practices in cloud SIEM/SOAR.

    • Help create tools to increase internal SOC efficiencies. 

    SOC Analysis

    • Handle advanced escalations and complex security incidents.

    • Produce incident reports and executive summaries for stakeholders.

    • Work closely with the wider SOC team to provide support, guidance, and continuous improvement recommendations. 

    Person specification 

    Essential 

    • Proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role. 

    • In-depth understanding of SIEM/SOAR concepts. 

    • Familiarity with Azure, Sentinel and Microsoft XDR. 

    • SOC experience with incident response, monitoring and threat hunting.

    • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Working knowledge of Linux operating systems. 

    Desirable

    • Experience working in MSSP environments with multi-customer deployments.

    • Experience with KQL, Sentinel workbooks, playbooks, and automation.

    • Microsoft Certified: SC-200, SC-100, AZ-500, or equivalent.

    • Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation and enrichment.

    We’re seeking a proactive and driven Service Delivery Manager to join our growing team. As a key member of the Sales and Client Delivery function, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of our services, acting as the main operational contact for service matters for our clients.

    In this role, you’ll focus on service quality, customer retention, managing escalations, and driving continuous improvement by working closely with technical teams, to ensure issues are resolved quickly and services are delivered to the highest standard.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of our cyber security services, ensuring compliance with SLAs and contractual obligations.

    • Act as the primary operational contact for clients on service matters and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and root cause management.

    • Manage service delivery for MXDR and Total subscription customers, working in partnership with the Account Manager (AM).

    • Monitor service quality, KPIs, and performance, identifying areas for improvement.

    • Work closely with the internal technical teams to align security services with customer needs.

    • Conduct structured service reviews, producing customer facing reports.

    • Hold annual face-to-face service delivery meetings with subscription customers, in addition to quarterly reviews.

    • Work with sales and account management teams to identify upsell opportunities.

    • Provide updates and reports to the Senior Leadership Team on service performance, risks and deliverables.

    • Support the creation and rollout of a new service delivery portal, ensuring adoption and usability.

    Person specification

    Essential:

    • Proven experience in a SDM, customer success, or a related role.

    • Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP), IT, cybersecurity, or a related technology environment.

    • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with customers.

    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects

    • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.

    • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients

    • Full UK driving license 

    Desirable:

    • Certified in Scrum, Agile, or an equivalent framework
