  • We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Vulnerability Assessment Analyst to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our clients’ vulnerability management programs, helping them identify, assess, and reduce risks in line with industry best practices and compliance frameworks, including Cyber Essentials Plus (CEP).

    You’ll be the primary point of contact for vulnerability scanning activities, delivering clear, actionable reports and guidance to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

    The role requires a strong understanding of vulnerability tools, along with the ability to communicate findings with clarity and confidence while advising on remediation. 

    This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about cyber security who enjoys solving problems, engaging with clients, and making a measurable impact on risk reduction.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the planning, delivery, and management of vulnerability assessments and scanning activities across client and internal networks, systems, and applications.

    • Prepare and deliver clear, comprehensive vulnerability reports for PureCyber clients. 

    • Present vulnerability scan (VS) findings to clients, clearly explaining technical issues in an understandable way and providing tailored, actionable remediation recommendations.

    • Lead the onboarding of new clients into the vulnerability scanning tool within agreed project timelines.

    • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure identified vulnerabilities are addressed in line with industry standards such as, Cyber Essentials Plus (CEP+).

    • Enhance and streamline vulnerability reporting processes.

    • Manage endpoint patching activities using centrally managed tools, ensuring timely updates and compliance across supported devices.

    • Proactively monitor threat intelligence feeds and vulnerability databases to identify emerging vulnerabilities

    Experience and Skills Requirements:

    Essential:

    • Degree or equivalent experience in Cyber Security, IT, or related field.

    • Knowledge of vulnerability scanning and management tools.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Cyber Security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+) or actively pursuing.

    • Familiarity with vulnerability management frameworks and standards.

    Desirable:

    • Experience with scripting and automation.

    • Understanding of patch management processes and coordination.
