Acuity Law and Effective Communication team up with PureCyber to protect businesses from cyber-attack impact

Leading commercial law firm Acuity Law and brand reputation specialists Effective Communication have extended their partnership to offer businesses expert cyber advice via consultancy PureCyber.

The new partnership with PureCyber follows the launch of Acuity Reputation Management (ARM), a bespoke service that provides businesses of all shapes and sizes with a full suite of corporate reputation management protection, including access to experts such as Effective Communication and PureCyber.

With this latest collaboration between the three leading companies, businesses will be guided to pre-empt, protect and control their reputation when it comes to common issues such as data theft and phishing and ransomware – and will be able to access a 27/7 service should a crisis arise.

PureCyber is an award-winning cyber security consultancy and was recently appointed by The Law Society in Wales to deliver Welsh Government-funded Cyber Essentials packages to Wales-based law firms.

Alastair Milburn, MD of Effective Communication, said: “We’ve been working closely with Acuity Law for some time now and are confident that this extended partnership to incorporate the expertise of PureCyber further encompasses the reputational crisis support we are able to offer businesses. The three services very naturally complement one another.”

Steve Berry, Partner and Executive Chairman at Acuity Law, said: “All too often we have seen the legal implications for our clients when they become the unsuspecting victim of a cyber-attack. To be able to offer our customers the expert advice of PureCyber at a moment’s notice in these situations will no doubt be very reassuring and useful to many.”

Damon Rands, CEO and Founder of PureCyber, said: “We’re delighted to be joining Acuity Law and Effective Communication in providing cyber security support to their clients in times of crisis.

“We regularly see the devastating impact a cyber-attack can have on a business’ finances and reputation and are sure many will find it incredibly valuable having the support of cyber security, legal and reputational experts under one umbrella.”
